Read More	Seldom does such a sudden death bring such intense sorrow for relatives and friends as did the death of Mrs. Anna McGraw, which occurred Monday, April 11th. A devout Catholic, loving and honorable mother, true friend and neighbor of all who knew her departed this life bravely. She was a woman of many admirable qualities, a lovable forbearance, a talent gifted too kind pleasure in any occupation and a practical Christianity which made her live her Catholic faith devoutly, won for her that general esteem given only to the sincere and good. She was born in Warren County, Iowa, August 27, 1872 and spent her girlhood days there. She was married to John Wilson in 1888 and to this union was born two sons, Roy Fredrick and George Louis. In 1895, she was married to Henry McGraw of Creston, Iowa, where they continued to live for several years before moving on a farm east of Letcher in 1909. In 1914 they located on a farm west of Letcher. On November 30, 1926, Mr. McGraw suddenly passed away leaving his wife, nine children and two step sons. Wife and children continued to reside on the farm where Mrs. McGraw passed away after being in ill health for about a year. Members of the royal neighbors will long remember the untiring interest Mrs. McGraw had taken in their organization. She leaves to mourn her loss ten children, John, James, Thomas, Roy and Lucille of Letcher; Mary, Bessie and Lorraine of Sioux Falls; George of Rapid City, and Nellie of Woodburn, Oregon, all of whom attended the funeral, also one sister, Mrs. Mary Briles of Prescott, Iowa and two brothers, Lou and Henry of Oregon. Out of town relatives included Mr. and Mrs. E.C. Klenner of Chicago, Mrs. Mary Briles of Iowa, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Birles and Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Nelson of Iowa. The pall bearers were namely, Mart Ford, Roy Todd, Hugh Morgan, Wm. Feeney, S.C. Mernaugh and Goerge Quinn.
