Description	:	In the afternoon of Oct. 25, 2005, Anna F. Beto, age 91, passed away. She was born Oct. 3, 1914, to Elizabeth and John Hanic at the Hanic Ranch, Home Creek, Mont. Her early school years were at country schools around the Ashland area. She graduated from Ingomar High School. During her high school years, she participated in basketball and sang in the Glee Club. She was born Oct. 3, 1914, to Elizabeth and John Hanic at the Hanic Ranch, Home Creek, Mont. Her early school years were at country schools around the Ashland area. She graduated from Ingomar High School. During her high school years, she participated in basketball and sang in the Glee Club. She lettered in track, throwing the javelin and the shot put. After high school, she attended Eastern Montana Normal School. On July 10, 1935, she married Lloyd Paul Beto. After his death in 1942, she worked at various restaurants until going to Billings Business College. After that, she worked as a secretary until her retirement. Anna loved the outdoors, gardening and tending her flowers. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and knitting many keepsakes for her children and grandchildren. In her earlier years, she enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with family and friends. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and her seven brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughters Helen (Jim) Orr and Carol (Mel) Ford; her four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. The family will gather for a private burial of cremated remains at a later date. Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice. Michelotti-Sawyers is in charge of arrangements.
