She was born May 23, 1910, in Ottumwa to Abby and Lota Ludwick Eslinger. She married Thomas Parker on Dec. 3, 1927, in Ottumwa. He died June 17, 1963. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Juanita Box; a great-granddaughter; her stepfather, Hobart "Slim" Hainline; and two half-brothers, Earl and Donald Hainline. The funeral mass will be 1 p.m. Monday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, the Rev. Anthony Herold officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. today at Reece Funeral Home. Family visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Jerry, Mike, Frank and Shane Box, Casey and Corey Jones.
