ANNA GOFF DIES IN BROOKLYN Miss Anna Heginbotham, daughter of John and Harriet Heginbotham was born November 4, 1847, the first of seven children. The place of birth was Stockport, England, although she came to America with her parents when she was three years old. It took six weeks for the journey in a small schooner. They made their home on a farm near Newark, Ohio. On March 15, 1871, she was united in marriage to William Fuller Goff at Newark. ANNA GOFF DIES IN BROOKLYN Miss Anna Heginbotham, daughter of John and Harriet Heginbotham was born November 4, 1847, the first of seven children. The place of birth was Stockport, England, although she came to America with her parents when she was three years old. It took six weeks for the journey in a small schooner. They made their home on a farm near Newark, Ohio. On March 15, 1871, she was united in marriage to William Fuller Goff at Newark. He preceded her in death twenty-three years ago, on January 23, 1903. Eight children came to bless this home, Ella Mable Goff at Grinnell, Mary C. Goff of Brooklyn, William Earl of Grinnell, Elmer, who died eleven years ago, the twins, Percy and Mrs. Pearl Smith, Mrs. Grace Williamson of Bell, California, and John of Brooklyn. Mr. and Mrs. Goff came to Brooklyn December 8, 1884, where she lived until her death, which took place Sunday evening on Mother's Day, at her home in Brooklyn. Mrs. Goff was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran church in St. Louisville, Ohio, where she retained her membership until her death. On Friday, March 12, 1926, Mrs. Goff broke her hip. Since then she has gradually grown weaker and thinner until at her death her weight was scarcely seventy-five pounds. Mrs. Goff was a very exceptional mother.
