Her childhood was spent in the vicinity of her birth, where she also received her education. On December 9, 1908 she was united in marriage to Peder Pedersen at Lindsey, Nebraska. They resided in the vicinity of Rosenburg, Nebraska until 1925, when the family moved to Aurora, where she has since resided. For many years she was employed in restaurant work with Ralph and Myrtle Spray in Aurora. Mr. Pedersen preceded her in death on December 18, 1945. At an early age she was baptized and confirmed in the Danish Lutheran Church at Rosenburg and later transferred her membership to the First Lutheran Church in Aurora and remained a faithful member of that congregation for many years. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sons, Hilbert, George and Stanley and three brothers, John, Harley and Axel Christensen. Her survivors include two sons, Harold of Beatrice and Virgil of Martinez, Georgia; four grandchildren, one great-grandchild, several nieces and nephews and other relatives and close friends.
