Mrs. Duben spent most of her life in this section. Her younger days were with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Kralik on a farm west of here a few miles. After her marriage to Mr. Joseph Duben they continued to live on a farm near here. Mr. Duben preceded her in death several years ago. She lived here until a few years ago when she moved to Creston. She leaves 3 sons, Geo. of Des Moines, A.J. Duben and Francis of Creston, two duaghters, Mrs. Helen Skelton of Creston and Mrs. Glen Blazek near here. April 27, 1965 Anna Duben, 89, Dies Here Sunday Mrs. Anna Duben, 89, died at her home at 3061/2 north Elm street at 6:30 a.m. Sunday, after a brief one day illness. She had lived in Creston since Jan. 8, 1964, and had previously lived in the Williamson and Nevinville communities, northwest of Creston, since she was a small child. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Keating chapel here, Rev, Myron B. Hayes will officiate. Burial will be in the Bohemian National cemetery at Williamson. Her body will lie in state at the funeral home until time of the services. The casket will not be opened after the services. Anna Kralik was born in Czechslovakia, July 26, 1875. She was the daughter of James and Anna Beber Kralik. She came to the United States with her parents when she was a small child. They located on a farm in the Williamson community. She was married at Creston, Nov. 22, 1892, to Joseph J. Duben, who preceded her in death April 6, 1960. Mrs. Duben is survived by three sons, Arthur J. Duben of Creston, George J. Duben of Des Moines and J. Francis Duben of Kent; two daughters, Mrs. Helen Skelton of Creston and Mrs. Velma Blazek of Orient; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren; two brothers, James and John Kralik, both of Creston; and a sister, Mrs. Mary Krisinger of Creston.
