Description	:	Mrs. Anna Hansen was born in Lansinburg, Denmark, July 29, 1838, and died March 4th 1912, aged 73 years, 7 months, and 5 days. In Denmark, in the year 1858, she was married to B.H. Hansen, who died in 1869. She afterward married C.G. Cedrrquist in 1871. They came to America in 1872 and settled down in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, removing to Omaha, Nebraska, in 1881. In 1883 they homesteaded 5 miles south of Norman, removing from that place to Valley, Nebraska,in 1889, where they resided two years. From that time until 1905 she lived among her children. She... Read More	Mrs. Anna Hansen was born in Lansinburg, Denmark, July 29, 1838, and died March 4th 1912, aged 73 years, 7 months, and 5 days. In Denmark, in the year 1858, she was married to B.H. Hansen, who died in 1869. She afterward married C.G. Cedrrquist in 1871. They came to America in 1872 and settled down in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, removing to Omaha, Nebraska, in 1881. In 1883 they homesteaded 5 miles south of Norman, removing from that place to Valley, Nebraska,in 1889, where they resided two years. From that time until 1905 she lived among her children. She has been with her youngest son, Chris Cederquist of Pleasant Valley, since that time, at whose home she died Monday night at 9:00. She had been an invalid since November 3, having been afflicted with rheumatism and left with practically no use of her lower limbs. After a long, and busy life she died as she had lived--honored, trusted and loved. She reared her monument while she lived in the hearts of all who knew her. Her life was completed if work all done and well done constitutes completion. She has been a life-long member of the Danish Lutheran Church and through all the vicissitudes and sorrows that she met in the way, her faith in God never wavered. She was the mother of nine children, seven now living that mourn her loss, Mrs. J.P. Lind, Perth Amboy, New Jersey; Bertel Hansen of Saint Paul, Minnesota; Mrs. Mary (Louis) Rasmussen, John Hansen of this place; Mrs. F. Dion of Spokane, Washington; Mrs. J. Schlachter of Peoria, Illinois; and Chris Cederquist of this place, The funeral occurred form the house last Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Nevill officiating, interment taking place in the Pleasanton cemetery 7 March 1912  THE PLEASANTON INDEPENDENT The 1880 census for Perth Amboy, Middlesex County, New Jersey lists her children as Mary Hansen, John Hansen, and Christina Cederquist all born in Denmark. Sarina Cederquist and Andrew Cederquist born in New Jersey. The 1885 census for Kearney County, Nebraska listed children Clara, Andrew and Christ Cederquist also born in New Jersey.
