The McNeary Family settled at Ordway, where Anna grew to adulthood. Anna McNeary married Leslie G. Dell, the son of Enoch and Maltilda Hurst Dell on November 27, 1901 at Andover, South Dakota. They farmed on a homestead at Ordway Township and had three sons and three daughters. Mr. Dell passed away on October 11, 1931. Mrs. Dell married Angus Johnson on September 1, 1934 at Aberdeen. They lived on the farm until 1949, when they retired to Aberdeen. Mr. Johnson passed away on August 30, 1954. Mrs. Johnson continued to make her home at Aberdeen, where she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Women of the Moose. Anna McNeary Dell Johnson, known to her family as "Little Grandma" died in Aberdeen on the 5th of November, 1971. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on November 8th with burial in Riverside Cemetery at Aberdeen. Mrs. John was proceeded in death by in her husbands, George Dell and Angus Johnson, her parents, John and Ellen McNeary, two sons, Melvin and Leslie, a daughter-in-law Ruth (Murray) Dell, a son-in-law Harold Murray, six brothers and two sisters. Mrs. Johnson was survived by one son, George and Maxine Dell of Aberdeen; three daughters, Margaret and George Crocker of Aberdeen, Gertrude and Gus Kluck of Columbia, and Alice and Raymond Ryan of Martin, one sister, Ellen Fortier of Richmond, California, and 18 grandchildren and 34 great-children.
