Description	:	Mrs. Anna M. Geeron, 87, 811 S. Westcott St., died Wednesday in Matney Morningside Manor after a long illness. Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Francis Catholic Church. Monsignor Richard E. Zenk will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-9:30 p.m. today, with the rosary recited at 7 p.m. by the 3rd Order of St. Francis, 7:30 p.m. by the parish and 7:45 p.m. by the Legion of Mary in the Larkin Northside Funeral Home. Mrs. Geeron, the former Anna M. Perius, was born Feb. 6, 1898, in Mt. Carmel, N. D. She received her education in Langdon, N. D., and then moved to Sioux City where she graduated from the National Business College. She married Sylvester P. Geeron May 24, 1923, in Sioux City. They moved to North Dakota in 1939 and returned to Sioux City in 1947. He died Feb. 20, 1962, in Sioux City. She was employed as a bookkeeper for a number of years at the Mayfair and West Hotels in Sioux City. Mrs. Geeron was a member of the Senior Citizens Center, St. Francis Catholic Church, 3rd Order of St. Francis and was an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary. Survivors include three sons, Charles E., Jerry J. and Peter F., all of Sioux City; a daughter, Mrs. Ann M. Topf of Carroll, Iowa; a sister, Sister M. Veronica Perius, OSM; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. The Sioux City Journal, November 22, 1985
