(Tow) Frundle was born on Monday; October 4, 1909 at her family farm near Montour; Tama County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Jesse and Sarah (Roseland) Tow. Anna graduated from the LeGrand High School's Class of 1927 in LeGrand; Marshall County, Iowa. On Monday; December 31, 1928, she was united in marriage to Merle Frundle in Marshalltown; Marshall County, Iowa. The couple farmed east of LeGrand, Iowa for a couple of years before moving to their farm near Montour, Iowa. Mrs. Frundle was a member of the Stavanger Friends Church, the neighborhood Happy Hour Club and a former member of the Eastern Star Lodge in LeGrand, Iowa. She will fondly be remembered for her love of family, traveling with Merle, cooking, her love of the church and was a great hostess and enjoyed entertaining. Anna M. (Tow) Frundle, age 98, passed away on Tuesday; September 30, 2008 at the Carrington of Toledo; Tama County, Iowa where she has resided since April. Her death came just four days prior to her 99th Birthday. Those left to mourn her passing are: Her son: Richard (Mary) Frundle of Montour, Iowa. Her five grandchildren: Robert Frundle of Montour, Iowa. Ann Marie (Brian) Nobes of Nashville; Davison County, Tennessee. Kathy Frundle of West Des Moines; Polk County, Iowa. Linda (Billy) Archer of Panama City Beach; Bay County, Florida and Mary Beth Frundle of Tulsa; Tulsa County, Oklahoma. Her eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. In death she has rejoined her husband: Merle (1994), her daughter: Sharon McKinney (1989), three brothers and one sister as well as her parents. May they rest in peace. Visitation will be from: 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday; October 3, 2008 at the funeral home. Funeral services will begin at: 1:00 p.m. on Saturday; October 4, 2008 at the Stavanger Friends Church in LeGrand, Iowa with Pastor Jim Bonzer officatiing. Interment will be at the Stavanger Cemetery also in LeGrand, Iowa. For condolences, please visit the funeral home's website.
