Read More	Obituary courtesy of Lauber-Moore Funeral Home: Anna Mae Stauffer was born July 2, 1924, on a farm just southwest of Milford, Nebraska to John and Della (Roth) Stutzman, the youngest of two children, and passed away on Wednesday, May 30, 2012, at Ridgewood Care Center in Seward at the age of 87 years 10 months and 30 days. As a young girl, Anna Mae attended Milford Public Schools and on October 6, 1940, she was united in marriage to Leonard Stauffer and to this union, five children were born: Garry, Dennis, Jo Dean, Jo Ann and Herschel. Together they made their home on a farm north and west of Milford where Ann Mae was a busy homemaker, mother and farm wife, helping Leonard with the various chores. She spent a lot of her time in the kitchen, where she often prayed for her family and friends. Anna Mae was a wonderful cook, enjoyed gardening and loved the outdoors. Everyone will miss her great food, especially her homemade cinnamon rolls. Music played an important part throughout her life and Anna Mae enjoyed singing as a young girl with her brother and also at church. She and Leonard enjoyed entertaining others as often as they could but shortly after Leonard's death, her health began to decline which limited her activities. In her later years, Anna Mae lived at the Linden Village in Milford and several other care centers in Lincoln and Seward. She was a member of the Bellwood Mennonite Church. Anna Mae remained faithful to the end and showed her unconditional love to all who knew her. Anna Mae was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard, in 1989, an infant son, Jo Dean, brother, Wilton Stutzman and other relatives.
