Description	:	Mrs. Wm Karsten Laid to Rest Monday Funeral services were conducted Monday afternoon at the Westmark Church for Mrs. Wm. Karsten, with Rev. Vetter and Rev. Hogander in charge. Music was furnished by mixed quartet from the German Lutheran Church with Miss Vetter at the piano. A solo by Charles Larson, "going Down the Valley" and two solos by Mrs. Art Sands were heard. Anna Margaret Nastrom was born January 17, 1876 in the parish of Sidinsjo, Westermonland, Sweden. She was baptized and confirmed in the confession of the church of Sweden. She left for America twenty-eighth day of August, 1902. Mrs. Karsten was united in marriage on March 8, 1904 to John H. Pearson at Greeley, Colorado. They moved to Bertrand community October, 1911. To this union five children were born. Mr. Pearson passed away July 6, 1931. She remarried to Wm. S. Karsten of Bertrand. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Wm. Karsten and the chldren, Mrs. Margaret Malm of Loomis, Mrs. Hilda Bernett of Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Mable Clark, also of Denver, Hilmer Pearson, Cozad, and Miss Neomi Pearson of Bertrand; one step-son Harry Karsten; five grandchildren and one sister, Martha Fallman of Sweden, and other relatives and a host of friends. Mrs. Karsten was a faithful and loving mother, who won for herself a host of friends. At the time of her departure she had thus reached the age of 60 years, 9 months and 6 days.
