She had 4 brothers - Johann Jacob Wenteroth (Winteroth), John Adam Wenderoth, Johan George Franz Wenderoth, and Johan Peter Wenderoth - and 4 sisters - Anna Maria Wenderoth, Anna Maria Catherine Wenderoth Jacob, Anna Maria Wenderoth (named for deceased), and Anna Barbara Wenderoth. She married John Bird about 1768. They had 9 children - Catherine Bird Deaver/Vandever, Adam Bird, Frederick Bird, John Bird, David... Some of the record of her family is in a booklet “History of Highland County Virginia” by Oren F Morton B L. Note choice of names for the Bird children, several are the same as Susanna’s brothers and sisters. John Bird and his sons were farmers of Bath County, Virginia. John is said to have died while plowing his land.
