Read More	Anna Margaretha Frazier (Schneller) peacefully passed away on her 100th birthday on September 10, 2012, in Denison, Iowa. Anna was born on a farm in East Boyer Township southeast of Denison. She was one of four daughters of Ludwig and Tina Schneller (Lorenzen). Anna graduated from 8th grade country school East Boyer #4. She married Boyd A. Frazier on January 17, 1929. The couple first settled on a farm east of Dunlap. In 1942 they moved to a farm near her birthplace where they lived for 42 years. Anna was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Denison where she was baptized by Rev. J.A. Lemke (sponsor Maria Lemke) on October 29, 1912. Anna lived her entire life in or on farms near Denison, Iowa. Anna was a fantastic speller, loved to read, and play cards. She enjoyed garage sales and gardening. Anna was a feisty lady with a mind of her own. Farm life was a blessing for her. Anna was a loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved hard work and took pride in cooking and canning. Her family enjoyed her cooking, especially her pork chops and gravy, and the delicious lunches she would take to the fields at harvest time for the thrashing crew. Anna was a good hostess and would always have relatives over for Sunday dinners. She learned sign language in order to communicate with her deaf sister and was a self-taught piano player, accompanying Boyd on the violin. They had many great times going to dances in the 40s and 50s where Boyd played in the dance band. Anna was gifted at making the most out of meager means which helped her family survive during the period of the Great Depression and beyond. She would sew and embroider and made clothing for the family. She and Boyd loved babysitting for their grandchildren on their farm and helped out whenever and wherever they could. They sold milk, cream, and eggs to the local creamery and to the private citizens of Denison for several years along with apples from their orchard. Anna also worked at Midwestern College and Eventide Nursing Home for many years. Anna was dearly loved by her family as she taught them the value of hard work, cleanliness, and caring for their families. Her family and friends will miss her and remember her fondly. She is now in the hands of our Lord. Anna was preceded in death by her first son, Carl Frederich (stillborn); her parents, Ludwig and Tina Schneller; her three sisters, Justina Olmstead; Edna Frazier; and Margaret Maki; and her husband of 55 years, Boyd Frazier. A pillar of strength throughout her life, she is survived by children: Beulah (Kenneth); Dorothy (Pat); Melvin (Joleen); and David (Angel); thirteen grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; 28 great-great grandchildren; and 7 great-great-great grandchildren. Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Friday, September 14, 2012, at the First United Methodist Church in Denison, Iowa. Rev. Alberta Ervin officiated the service and graveside rites held at Crawford Heights Memory Gardens, Garden of Devotion, in Denison. CD selections played included, "Precious Lord Take My Hand," "Wind Beneath My Wings," and "Just A Closer Walk With Thee." Serving as Pallbearers were Robby Frazier, Jeremey Brown, Dale Ransom, Joshua Brown, Ryan Frazier, and Joey Brown. The family invited everyone to return to the church for fellowship and lunch provided by the Methodist Women. The Huebner Funeral Home in Denison was in charge of arrangements.
