Description	:	Anna Maria "Marie" Gerber was born March 8, 1858 in Bahlingen, Emmendingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, the daughter of Georg Martin Gerber and Salomea Riess. She was baptized there on March 21, 1858. She emigrated to America with her parents in 1881 and they settled in the Benton and Black Hawk County areas. She was married to Andreas Henry Moeller on Sept. 6, 1883 at Atkins, Iowa. Read More	Anna Maria "Marie" Gerber was born March 8, 1858 in Bahlingen, Emmendingen, Baden-Württemberg, Germany, the daughter of Georg Martin Gerber and Salomea Riess. She was baptized there on March 21, 1858. She emigrated to America with her parents in 1881 and they settled in the Benton and Black Hawk County areas. She was married to Andreas Henry Moeller on Sept. 6, 1883 at Atkins, Iowa. Ten children were born to this union, Louise Elizabeth Moeller (Mrs. Henry William Schutte), Anna Maria Barbara Fredericka Moeller, Henry Martin Daniel Moeller, Anna Elizabeth Caroline Moeller (Mrs. Johann Heinrich Poock), Martin Adam Moeller, John Frederick Wilhelm Moeller, Peter Frederick Heinrich Moeller, Walter William Moeller, Hilda Anna Marie Sophie Moeller (Mrs. Edward Fred Knief), and Bernard Fred Moeller. The family moved to the vicinity of Dunkerton, Iowa in 1896 and were members of the Lutheran Church at Klinger, Iowa, for 22 years. They moved to Waterloo in 1913. Mr. Moeller was killed in an automobile-train accident at Dewar, Iowa on July 14, 1918. On May 20, 1920 she married William Kreutner at Shellsburg, Benton County, Iowa. Marie passed away on July 16, 1944 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Ed (Hilda) Knief. Funeral services were held July 20, 1944 at 1:30 p.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H.W. (Louise) Schutte and at 2:00 p.m. at Klinger Lutheran Church with Rev. W.D. Oetting, pastor of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Waterloo officiating. She was buried beside her husband, Henry Moeller at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in Klinger, Iowa.
