Description	:	Anna (Michlitsch) Struck, 101, of Webster and formerly of Eden passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at Bethesda Home in Webster. Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. Friday, March 4, 2022 at Fiksdal Funeral Service. Visitation will be 12-1 P.M. on Friday prior to Service. Small luncheon to follow. Spring burial will be at St. Michael's Cemetery near Eden. Anna Marie Fleischhacker was born on May 17, 1920 to Karl and Verony (Lentsch) Fleischhacker. She was baptized and confirmed into the Catholic faith. She attended country school at Red Iron #2 near their home. After her education, she remained on the family farm until 1938, when she was united in marriage to Arnold Michlitsch. The couple made their home on a farm near Eden where they farmed and raised four children, Clara, Harry, Calvin, and Del Roy. Arnold passed away in 1971. Anna continued to live at the farm and worked part-time at the poultry plant in Sisseton. In 1974, she moved to Sioux Falls and worked at Sioux Valley Hospital. In 1976, she married Luverne Struck. The couple made their home in Sioux Falls. Luverne passed away in 2015. Anna then moved to Bethesda Home in Webster to be close to family. Anna was a member of the VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries, and the Senior Citizen Center. She enjoyed farm life, gardening, canning, crafting, and sewing. She cherished her family and will be missed by many. She will be greatly missed by her daughter Clara (Joel Holm) Schmitz of Wheaton, MN, son Harry (Sharon) Michlitsch of Webster, SD, sister-in-law Daisy Fleischhacker of Minneapolis, MN, seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two stepdaughters, and five step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, sons Calvin and Del Roy, five brothers, and two sisters. - Fiksdal Funeral Home ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Husband, Luverne's obituary: Luverne M. Struck, age 90, of Sioux Falls, died Saturday, March 21, 2015. A funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Thursday, March 26, 2015 at George Boom Funeral Home in Sioux Falls. The family will be present to greet friends for visitation on Wednesday from 5PM to 7PM at George Boom Funeral Home. Luverne M. Struck was born December 1, 1924 to Henry and Theresa (Jons) Struck in Salem, South Dakota. He grew up and received his education in the Salem and Canistota areas. On May 7, 1943 he enlisted into the United States Navy where he served for three years during World War 2. On April 6, 1946 he discharged from the Navy and returned to South Dakota. In September of 1955 he was united in marriage to Lila Klitzke in Sioux Falls. From this union the couple were blessed with their daughters, Carol and Cindy. Lila then passed away in October of 1965, Luverne's daughters will always remember his strength from this difficult time and how he still kept their family strong. On September 25, 1976 he was united in marriage to Anna Michlitsch and the couple made their home in Sioux Falls. Upon his military service, Luverne began employment at John Morrell and Co. and in 1984 he retired after 40 years of faithful service. Luverne was an avid outdoorsman; much of his free time was spent on the lake fishing; he also enjoyed several hunting trips over the years, particularly the time he went moose hunting in Canada. He was a long time member at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sioux Falls, he was also a long time member of the VFW and American Legion Posts in Sioux Falls. Survivors include his wife, Anna Struck, Sioux Falls; daughters Carol Souphimdara, Brandon, SD, and Cindy Jost, Grand Rapids, MI; five grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Lila Struck, second wife, Viola Dahl, brothers, Larry and William Struck, and sisters, Ilene Barkley and Darlene Bus. - George Boom Funeral Home
