Description	:	Anna Marie Jensen Scott, was born May 12, 1890 at Central City, Nebraska, the daughter of Carl and Elise Hansen Jensen. Her death occurred on November 20, 1977 at Aurora, Nebraska, following several weeks of failing health, at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 8 days. She was the eldest of 11 children. Read More	Anna Marie Jensen Scott, was born May 12, 1890 at Central City, Nebraska, the daughter of Carl and Elise Hansen Jensen. Her death occurred on November 20, 1977 at Aurora, Nebraska, following several weeks of failing health, at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 8 days. She was the eldest of 11 children. As a small girl she moved with her parents to a farm near Kronborg. She attended Rural School District No. 20 near her parents home. Later she attended Grand View College in Des Moines, where she met her future husband. Emil Scott and Anna Jensen were married in St. John's Lutheran Church in Kronborg on May 25, 1914. Five children blessed this home. They farmed for many years, a life she enjoyed. In 1960 they retired and moved into Aurora where they were residing at the time of Mr. Scott's death on October 4, 1964. She later moved to Marquette where she resided until 1971 when she entered the Hamilton Manor. As a small girl she was baptized and later confirmed in the Lutheran Faith and was always active in the affairs of St. John's Lutheran Church in Kronborg, as long as her health permitted. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, George Jensen, Einar Jensen and William Jensen; two sisters, Mrs. Astrid Stephans and an infant sister, Ebba; one grandson and one granddaughter. Her survivors include two sons, Richard of Bellwood, Nebraska and Hjalmar of Burbank, California; three daughters, Mrs. Edith Petersen of Kimbalton, Iowa, Mr.s Nita Larson of Harlan, Iowa and Mrs. Evelyn Beyer of Hampton; two brothers, Hans O. Jensen of Aurora and Carl B. Jensen of Marquette; three sisters, Mrs. Aage Andersen of Marquette, Mrs. Angelo Paulsen of Aurora and Mrs. Arthur Johnson of Genoa; 16 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and other relatives and close friends.
