Potter, was born August 1, 1864 and died September 27, 1916, in Stillwater, Ok., age 52 years, 1 month and 26 days. Anna Mary McLAUGHLIN was born in Warren county, Illinois and moved with her parents to Washington county, Iowa, in 1871, moved to Kansas in 1878. She was united in marriage to Oliver A. Potter, was born August 1, 1864 and died September 27, 1916, in Stillwater, Ok., age 52 years, 1 month and 26 days. Anna Mary McLAUGHLIN was born in Warren county, Illinois and moved with her parents to Washington county, Iowa, in 1871, moved to Kansas in 1878. She was united in marriage to Oliver A. POTTER October 20, 1884. To this union were born six children, Vern, James, Cecil, Eva and Hulda POTTER of Stillwater, Okla., and Mrs. Gay FELKEL of Harper, Kan. There are two grandchildren, Francois Felkel of Harper and Geraldine Potter of Stillwater, two brothers, William McLAUGHLIN of Yates Center, Kan., and James McLaughlin of Billings, Mont. These with her husband are left to mourn the loss of a true and loving wife and a fond sister and mother, whose life was endeared to the home of her loved ones with every care and gentle patience. She has a great many relations and kind friends whom she loved and esteemed and often spoke of in her last illness and who will miss her too. She has lived in Kansas for thirty years and in Oklahoma for eight years. She was a true Christian wife and mother being a member of the M.E. church about thirty years. The remains of Mrs. Potter were brought to Harper for burial. The funeral occurred Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Methodist church, Rev. A. H. PONATH officiating.
