Description	:	Anna Marie Johnson, daughter of Christoffer and Mary Mortensen was born March 3, 1883 at Wahoo. She departed from this life on Friday, October 18, 1968 at the Howard County Community Hospital at the age of 85 years. At an early age she came with her parents to Howard County where they made their home on a farm in the Logan area. On May 5, 1915 she was united in marriage to Herman Johnson at St. Paul. Read More	Anna Marie Johnson, daughter of Christoffer and Mary Mortensen was born March 3, 1883 at Wahoo. She departed from this life on Friday, October 18, 1968 at the Howard County Community Hospital at the age of 85 years. At an early age she came with her parents to Howard County where they made their home on a farm in the Logan area. On May 5, 1915 she was united in marriage to Herman Johnson at St. Paul. The couple farmed in the Cushing area until 1937 when they moved into Cushing. In 1952 they purchased a home in St. Paul where they have since resided. Mrs. Johnson was a kind and loving grandmother who had reared and made a home for her granddaughter Peggy and grandson Daniel. She was a member of the St. Marks Lutheran Church in St. Paul and been active in circle of the church. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband; two sisters, Mrs. Olga Edwards and Mrs. Luella Slocombe both of Los Angeles, California; two brothers, Charles and Arthur both of Billings, Montana; a granddaughter, Mrs. Peggy Goettsche and grandson, Daniel Aye both of st. Paul. Preceding her in death were her parents, a daughter, Oliva Bumann, a sister, Millie Root, one brother, Henry Mortensen and one grandson, Freddie L. Aye, Jr.
