Description	:	Anna was the daughter of Joseph and Anna Steiner. She married C.R. Cosens on June 2, 1914 at Pierre, S.D. Nov 18, 1926 - Carroll Times - Mrs. C.R. Cosens, whose death was mentioned in the last issue of The Carroll Times was Miss Anna May Stainer before her marriage and was born at Pontiac, Illinois, July 20, 1878. She passed away at the home of her mother, in Pierre, S.D., November 8, 1926. In early childhood she was taken by her parents to Pierre, S.D., where she grew to womanhood. Cosens, whose death was mentioned in the last issue of The Carroll Times was Miss Anna May Stainer before her marriage and was born at Pontiac, Illinois, July 20, 1878. She passed away at the home of her mother, in Pierre, S.D., November 8, 1926. In early childhood she was taken by her parents to Pierre, S.D., where she grew to womanhood. She was united in marriage to C.R. Cosens at Pierre on June 2, 1914, since which time she has made her home in Carroll, Ia. Her last illness extended over a period of about two years. Last April she went to the hospital at Rochester where she remained until in August when she went to the home of her mother in Pierre. All that could possibly be done to regain her health was done but all efforts seemed to be in vain. She united with the Methodist Episcopal church at Pierre during young womanhood where she retained her membership to the close of her earthly life. Besides her husband she leaves to mourn her loss, her other four sisters and one brother. Her father preceded her in death last June. The funeral service was held at the home in Carroll Thursday afternoon, November 11, 1926, at 2 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Arthur M. Eastman. The body was laid to rest in the Carroll city cemetery.
