Mrs. Craig is the daughter of the late Dr. S. J. Wels and Mrs. Welsh. She attended St. May's college, and is an attrative young lady possessing many charms. Mr. Craig is first lieutenant in battery B, 316th regiment, and is stationed at Camp Jackson. He attended the Ft. Oglethorpe officer's training camp, and was commissioned a second lieutenant at the close of thee training period. Later he was promoted to first lieutenant. Prior to enlisting, Lieutenant Craig practiced law here with Mersrs. Stack & Parker. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, and is a young man of marked ability. for several terms he was principal of the Monroe high school.
