Description	:	Anna was the daughter of John & Anna Schuch, she married Joseph Pravecek in Tyndall, SD in 1887. They operated a dry goods store in the 1890's in Lynch. In 1909 they moved to a farm south of Spencer. Joseph & Anna had 6 children, 2 of which died before 1900, the other four were: Mary "Mayme", Anastasia, George and Frances. In 1910, their nephews Eddie and Frank were also residing with them on their farm. In 1915, flooding from the Ponca Creek filled the gully in which sat Joseph & Anna's farm. ... In 1909 they moved to a farm south of Spencer. Joseph & Anna had 6 children, 2 of which died before 1900, the other four were: Mary "Mayme", Anastasia, George and Frances. In 1910, their nephews Eddie and Frank were also residing with them on their farm. In 1915, flooding from the Ponca Creek filled the gully in which sat Joseph & Anna's farm. Although the family tried to load up in the wagon and make it to higher ground, they were all drowned and the stream carried their bodies. Anna and her children were found two miles away from their home and buried together in one grave on May 29th. Joseph was not found until May 30th and buried on the 31st. Nephew Edward was found by his father Anton after a two week search and is also interred next to the Joseph Pravecek family. The older girls were not home when it flooded.
