She was married to Anuel Stroud on July 18, 1919 in Cherokee. She had lived in the Quimby area all of her life. She had worked in the cafe in Quimby for 13 years, and for the Hot Lunch Program in the Quimby Schools. She was a life long member of the Quimby United Methodist Church, the Hope Circle, the United Methodist Women, the Quimby Senior Citizens, and was a 50 year member of the Royal Neighbors Lodge. She is survived by four sons and five daughters and their spouses: Garland and Lillian Stroud, Brooksville, Fla.; Darrel (Bud) and Doris Stroud, Cherokee; Roy and Lidia Stroud, Quimby; Jerry and Bonnie Stroud, Omaha, Neb.;June Reinert, Cherokee; Dorothy Clark,,, Cherokee; Evelyn and Albert" Henrichsen, Cushing; Betty Stevenson, Quimby; Annabelle and Francis Steele, Fullerton, Neb.;also 27 grandchildren; 70 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchildren.
