Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, St. Donatus, Iowa, with burial in the church cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. today at Siegert-Casper Colonial Funeral Home, 390 N. Grandview Ave. Friends also may call after 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Anna worked at Ring's Restaurant and the Egg Plant, both in Dubuque. Anna enjoyed any card game, especially poker, euchre, and solo. She also enjoyed gardening, cooking and was a die-hard Cubs fan. Surviving are her children, Harold (Rita) Miller Jr., of Bellevue, Iowa, Shirley (Carlton) Busch, of La Motte, Iowa, Betty McPhail and Carol (Paul Uhlrich) Becker, both of Dubuque; a sister, Esther Clark, of Montrose, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Sally Kueter, of Dubuque; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by a son, Leroy "Whitey" Miller; two grandsons, Allen Busch and Craig Miller; three sons-in-law, Gary McPhail, Robert Becker and Bob Schmerbach; and a brother, Ed Kueter. The family has established a memorial fund for the St. John's Lutheran Cemetery in St. Donatus.
