She passed away August 8, 1945 in Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 67 years 10 months and 4 days. She spent most of her life in Saline County, except a few years of her childhood which were spent in New York City where her parents, John and Kathy Vrba, resided. Read More	Mrs. Anna Duba, maiden name Vrba, was born October 4, 1877 on a farm west of Wilber. She passed away August 8, 1945 in Bryan Memorial Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 67 years 10 months and 4 days. She spent most of her life in Saline County, except a few years of her childhood which were spent in New York City where her parents, John and Kathy Vrba, resided. February 20, 1900 she was united in marriage to Vaclav N. Duba here in Wilber. The union was a happy one and was blessed with one daughter, Alice. They farmed 11 miles west of Wilber for 10 years and for 8 years lived east of Wilber. In 1918, they moved to town where Mr. Duba was well known and highly respected. Her husband preceded her in death on February 20, 1939. Mrs. Duba leaves to mourn her departure a daughter, Alice Lisec of Wilber; one half-sister Mrs. Marie Stejskal of Milligan, many relatives and friends. Her husband and a brother Dominic preceded her in death. Mrs. Duba was a good wife and loving mother. She was always interested in home and family. She was a member of Lodge Mir. She was a member of the Red Cross sewing circle. Burial was at North Fork Cemetery. -------------------------
