Description	:	Mrs. Gustav Kahle died Sunday morning at a Lincoln hospital, where she had been for several days preparing to undergo an operation. Anna Wilhelmina Kahle, nee Meinke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Meinke, both deceased was born near Kramer, June 23, 1897. On July 21 of the same year she was baptized at the St. John's Lutheran Church at Kramer. She attended the parochial school of that congregation and was confirmed June 23, 1911. Anna Wilhelmina Kahle, nee Meinke, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Meinke, both deceased was born near Kramer, June 23, 1897. On July 21 of the same year she was baptized at the St. John's Lutheran Church at Kramer. She attended the parochial school of that congregation and was confirmed June 23, 1911. She reached the age of 45 years, nine months, and 11 days. Her life was characterized by kind and devoted service. On February 27, 1921 she was married to Gustav Kahle. One son, Alvin, was born to this union. Her entire life was spent around Crete. After her marriage she lived east of Crete one year. Then 16 years were spent on the farm northwest of Crete. The remaining years were spent on farms south and east of Crete. She leaves to mourn her sudden death her husband and one son, Alvin. Funeral services were conducted at the Lutheran church Wednesday afternoon, Rev. A.F. Schrein officiating. Interment was made in the Kramer Lutheran Cemetery. Source: The Crete News, April 8, 1943
