Description	:	Annabelle Mavis (Frisbie) Ezarski was born on May 20, 1917 in Britt, Iowa, she was an only child of Ben and Maude (Fitzgerald) Frisbie who farmed at Britt. She graduated from Britt High School in 1935. Annabelle attended college in Britt where she met and married Joseph James Ezarski on January 25, 1940. Read More	Annabelle Mavis (Frisbie) Ezarski was born on May 20, 1917 in Britt, Iowa, she was an only child of Ben and Maude (Fitzgerald) Frisbie who farmed at Britt. She graduated from Britt High School in 1935. Annabelle attended college in Britt where she met and married Joseph James Ezarski on January 25, 1940. That union produced four daughters who gave her joy and her share of worry. The family moved in 1945 to a farm south of Corwith. Annabelle and Joe were engaged in farming, retiring in 1985 and later moving to Algona. Annabelle was an enthusiastic farm wife, with interest and love of gardening, baking, music and sewing. She was a woman before her time greatly involved in the farming and operating decisions. She enjoyed traveling to Texas for the winter, dancing, and playing the organ. A tall, elegant and proud woman, Annabelle had a steadfast belief in God and a deep love of family. She was a member of St. Cecelia Catholic Church, Algona. Annabelle Mavis Ezarski died peacefully on Monday, August 6, 2007 at the Homestead Assisted Living Facility, Mason City at the age of 90. She had been a resident there since 2003. She is survived by her husband Joseph Ezarski of Mason City; four daughters, Marvel Ann Rushing of Fayetteville, NC, Marlene Meyers and her husband Roger of Escondido, CA, Vicky McVicker and her husband Denny of Mankato, MN, and Carla Kaser and her husband Glenn of Lihue, Kauai; nine grandchildren, Jeff Jordan and his wife Jessie of San Diego, CA, Kevin Rushing and his wife Liz of Holly Springs, NC, Brian Rushing of North Myrtle Beach, SC, Yvonne Hansen and her husband Ross of San Marcos, CA, David Lyons of Chicago, IL, Patrick Lyons and his wife Kelly of Bettendorf, Michael Lyons and his wife Jennifer of Cleveland, OH, Lisa Cavallari and her husband Chris of Elgin, IL and Todd McVicker of Afghanistan; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, Roger Rushing.
