Born April 8, 1913, at National, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Fannie Amelia (Palmer) Stevens. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Felix T. Foote Jr., on Jan. 8, 1992, and a sister, Mildred Stevens. Mrs. Foote was formerly employed with the Celanese Amcelle Plant for 15 years, also with Phillips Flower Shop in Lonaconing and Harvey's Florist in Frosstburg. She was a 1932 graduate of Beall High School and also attented art school in Cumberland. She was a former member of the First United Methodist Church in Lonaconing, the Women's Society of the church, United Methodist Women and the quilting hooking group of the church for nearly 60 years. She was currently a memver of the Grace United Methodist Church, Keyser. She served as a cook for the Lonaconing Rotary Club for nine years and was a member of Lonaconing Homemakers Club for over 60 years. She also held the distinction of the being the oldest living member of Martha Washington Chapter 10, Order of the Eastern Star Lonaconing, where she served as past worthy matron and held all of the line offices. Ann was always devoted to helping out others in need and provided food for almost all who knew her. She enjoyed cooking more than any other thing. Even if she did not know someone, she had the habit of making them not feel like a stranger. She will be sadly missed. Surviving are one son, Wayne Thurman Foote and wife Paulette, of Cumberland, one daughter, Colleen A. Rotruck and husband Darrell, of Keyser, one sister, Kathryn Edwards, of Cumberland, six grandchildren, Pamela Ann Lepley and husband Brian. Todd Wayne Foote and wife Alison, Shayna Louise Leone and husband Chris, Caleste Ann Shillingburg and husband Billy, Carrie Ann Rotruck, and Colin Darrell Rotruck and wife Amber, and nine great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Garret Lepley, Sophua, Domenic and Gianna Leone, Justin and Holden Shillingburg and Logan and Owen Rotruck, with another expexted in August, 2009, a niece, Bonnie Davis and husband Ron, of Cumberland, and three grandnieces and their families. Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Tuesday, May 19, 2009, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted in the Grace United Methodist Church, S. Mineral St., Keyser, W.Va., on Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Bernadette Ross officiating. Friends may also call the church one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Park, Cumberland. Martha Washington Chapter 10 O.E.S. will conduct a memorial service at the funeral home on Tuesday evening at 6:45 p.m. Condolences and personal relections to the family may be left after Mrs. Foote's obituary at smithfuneralhomes.net. ----
