Aloysius Vorwald officiating. Burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery in Cascade. Anne was born on Jan. 19, 1927, in Fillmore, daughter of Charles and Gertrude (Clancy) Sadler. She received her education in the Sacred Heart Schools in Fillmore and was a graduate of Clarke College in Dubuque, where she received her teaching certification. Anne taught at the former Aquin High School in Cascade. She also worked for several years at Project Concern in Dubuque. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and, as the home economics teacher, she designed and made costumes for many years for the musical plays at Aquin. On Aug. 26, 1948, she was united in marriage to Alfred A. Quint at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Fillmore; he preceded her in death on Dec. 5, 1991. She was a member of St. Matthias Parish in Cascade. She is survived by seven children, Phyllis (Patrick) Cerone, of Buffalo Grove, Ill., Mary Kay (Gary) Kelchen, of Cascade, Ray (Joyce) Quint, of Dubuque, Gloria (Mike) Reiter, of Cascade, Joan (Robert) Randall, of Palm Desert, Calif., Linda Aschtgen, of Cascade, and David (Jan) Quint, of Buckingham; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and one due in February; and two sisters, Jeanne Donovan and Rita (Robert) Takes, both of Cascade. She also is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Elsie Meehan; and two brothers-in-law, Carl Meehan and Cletus Donovan. An Anne B. Quint Memorial Fund has been established or memorials may be given to SASED Stars Program (for autism).
