Description	:	Anne Louise Steele, 83, of Fort Madison died at 1:14 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at Great River Hospice House in West Burlington. Born April 9, 1928, in Indianola, she was daughter of Cecil E. and Alyn I. Thorn Griffin. On Oct. 13, 1946, she married Arthur Wayne Steele in Montezuma. He died March 31, 2009. Mrs. Steele worked as a secretary for Fort Madison High School. She moved to Fort Madison in 1946. She was a member of Fort Madison Christian Church. Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Fort Madison.
