Description	:	From the 1984 Faulk County History: Annette Augusta Adel Lehman, called Nettie, was born December 16, 1888, in Myron Township of Faulk County, the daughter of William and Emma Sitz Lehman. She attended the eight lower grades at the Myron School. She also had German school all summer at the school that used to be by the Immanuel Lutheran church, where she learned the German language and the Lutheran religion. Christian Thomas Lindhorst and Nettie Lehman were married October 21, 1909, at her parent's house. (By Rev. Polack.) They had three boys: Elden, Arnold and Elmer. On the 4th of July, 1921, they were at Herman Holscher's place. Nettie's sister, Louise, had a new model T, and the children were climbing all over it and as Elmer slid down the fender he caught his little finger in the hood slits. He cut off the last knuckle and Nettie still has this little finger end in a jar of alcohol. Thomas died in 1949 and Nettie went to Amboy, Minn. to take care of uncle Abraham Schatz (# 151511666) who had suffered a stroke; she stayed until his death. In 1953 she moved into Wecota where she has stayed until she became a resident of the Shirk Home. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Aunt" Nettie was my parent's next-door neighbor and baby-sat me many times. It was her stories of her pioneer family's life that likely influenced my interest in history and antiques. I loved the antique furniture she inherited from her husband's uncle Abraham Schatz of Amboy, MN.
