Description	:	MAYODAN- Mrs. Annie Goad Biggs, 90, of 712 Roach Street, died Sunday, July 3, 2005, at Morehead Memorial Hospital. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ray Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dickie Goad and Dr. James Wall officiating. Interment will follow at Mayodan Municipal Cemetery. Mrs. Biggs was born in Rockingham County on May 3, 1915, to the late Davis and Bessie Adkins Goad. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kelsie Biggs, her brothers, Ernest Lee Goad, Troy Hill Goad, Harold King Goad, Roy David Goad and Harvey Tyron Bass. She attended Mayodan Moravian Church and was a member of the Louise Hedgecock Class. She retired from Washington Mills in 1965, after more than 30 years of service. She is survived by her sister, Lena Gann and her brother, Clyde Goad, both of Mayodan; Clayton "Dickie" Goad of Madison; and many special nieces and nephews.
