Buihner Passes Away on Monday Afternoon Death at 3 o'clock on Monday afternoon claimed Mrs. Annie L. Buihner, wife of George F. Buihner, 109 West Webster Street. Mrs. Buihner's death was due to heart and kidney disease, and followed an acute illness of ten days. Mrs. Buihner was born Mettlen in Scott county on August 17, 1863, and was four years old when her parents moved to Tama county and settled near Toledo. There, Miss Mettlen became the wife of Mr. Buihner on February 20, 1887. Mrs. Buihner spent practically all her life in Tama county, she and her husband having moved to this city two years ago. Surviving Mrs. Buihner, in addition to her husband, are three daughters, Mesdames Harvey Yetley of Garwin, Edith Nichol of Green Mountain, and H.E. McClure of Gladbrook. Mrs. Buihner's mother, Mrs. Marie Mettlen, lives at Omaha, and there are also living two brothers and four sisters. They are W. P. Mettlen, of Omaha, T. E. Mettlen of Ames, Mrs. E.M. Blake and Mrs. C.C. Amidon, of Toledo, Mrs. F.H. Wallace of Fremont, Nebraska, and Mrs. C.E. Fortner, of Sterling, Colorado. Mrs. Buihner had been a member of the United Brethren Church since she was 14 years of age. Funeral services will be held from the residence on Thursday afternoon at 1 o'clock, in charge of Rev. B.F.
