The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Church of the Nazarene in Laurinburg. Burial will follow the service at Hillside Memorial Park. Rev. Keith Parker, Rev. Read More	Mrs. Annie Mae Thopkins Williams of Laurinburg passed away on Friday, February 27, 2009 at the age of 80. The Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2009 at the Church of the Nazarene in Laurinburg. Burial will follow the service at Hillside Memorial Park. Rev. Keith Parker, Rev. Larry Lawrence and Rev. Jim Franklin will officiate the services. Mrs. Williams was born in Conway, South Carolina, on July 1, 1928. She was the daughter of the late Davis Thompkins and Lilly Belle Thompkins. She was a devoted homemaker, a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She worked in textiles for JP Stevens, Incorporated and later retired from Abbott Laboratories. Mrs. Williams served as a faithful member of the Church of the Nazarene. She also loved and enjoyed working in her garden and growing flowers. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her grandson, Jody Williams. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 63 years, Daniel A. Williams, Jr. of their home; her sons, Michael Ray Williams of Laurinburg, Daniel Gerry Williams and wife Carolyn of Laurinburg; her daughters, Connie W. Lamb and husband Dewy of Laurinburg, Kim R. Williams of Nichols, SC, Kellie Ann Williams of Laurinburg; sisters, Mary E. Caulder and Lena Maude Winningham both of South Carolina; sixteen grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 1st at Richard Boles Funeral Service. Original obituary was published by Richard Boles Funeral Service
