Description	:	Annis Taylor Deal, 81, Elizabethton went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Jess and Maggie Kress Taylor. Annis was a graduate of Unaka High School. She was a retired employee of the A & P Grocery. Annis had been a member of Dungan Chapel Baptist Church for many years. Read More	Annis Taylor Deal, 81, Elizabethton went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the Sycamore Shoals Hospital. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Jess and Maggie Kress Taylor. Annis was a graduate of Unaka High School. She was a retired employee of the A & P Grocery. Annis had been a member of Dungan Chapel Baptist Church for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmy Deal and her brothers & sisters: Gilbert Taylor, James Taylor, Bessie Hardin, Vernon Taylor, Aaron Taylor, Ulysses Taylor and Edith Garland. She will be missed by many. Survivors include her brother & sister-in-law: Lemmie & Sandra Taylor. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Graveside Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday October 25, 2021 in the Kress Cemetery (Hurley Hollow) with Dr. James Richardson officiating. Active Pallbearers who are requested to assemble at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m. Monday will be Nephews & Great Nephews. Honorary Pallbearers will be her church family. The family would like to express a special "Thank You" to the Staff of Sycamore Shoals Hospital. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
