Description	:	Anselm "Scotty" Windholz, 88, died Saturday,Jan. 22, 2000, at the Hays Medical Center, Hays. He was born April 19, 1921, in Emmeram to Martin and Catherine (Sander) Windholz. He married Hilaria Kuhn on Nov. 23, 1936, in Emmeram. He was a lifetime area resident. He was a cabinet maker and finish carpenter, retiring in 1983. Read More	Anselm "Scotty" Windholz, 88, died Saturday,Jan. 22, 2000, at the Hays Medical Center, Hays. He was born April 19, 1921, in Emmeram to Martin and Catherine (Sander) Windholz. He married Hilaria Kuhn on Nov. 23, 1936, in Emmeram. He was a lifetime area resident. He was a cabinet maker and finish carpenter, retiring in 1983. He was a member of the St. Fidelis Catholic Church and a Kights of Columbus Third and Fourth Degree, all of Victoria. Survivors include his wife, of the home; a daughter Gladys Wickam, Phillipsburg; a sister, Josie Robben, Walker; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Gracie Windholz, five brothers, John, Michael, Wendelin, Isador, and Peter, and six sisters, Barbara Denning, Catherine Quint, Elizabeth Schmeidler, Magdalena Windholz, Mary Kuhn and infant Florina Windholz. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria, with Father Frank X. Grinko officiating; burial in the Sacred Heart Cemetery, Emmeram. A vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m. today, followed by a Knights of Columbus Third and Fourth Degree rosary at 8 p.m., at Cline's Mortuary, Victoria. the Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree will stand honor guard from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the mortuary. Visitation will be until 9 p.m. today and from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday at the mortuary. Memorials are suggested to the Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund.
