Description	:	Funeral services were held on Monday morning, Feb. 10, for Mr. Anton Wolinski, at the St. Francis church in Ashton. The services were conducted by Rev. John Pociecha of Manitowoc, Wisconsin, a cousin of the deceased. He was assisted by Rev. Aloysius Jarzemski, the local pastor. Interment was made in the St. Francis cemetery. The pallbearers were: Ben and Harry Curtis, Theophil, Harry and Aloysius Rozmiarek and Leo Wolinski. Mr. Wolinski passed away suddenly Wednesday evening at about seven o'clock at his home as the result of a heart attack. He was 89 years, one month and two days... Born to Mr. and Mrs.Peter Wolinski January 3, 1847, in Mrocza, Poland. Mr. Wolinski spent his boyhood and received his schooling in Poland. He was married to Miss Julia Pochowska in 1871 and they came to America the same year, settling in Lemont, Ill. They resided there for ten years, and in Chicago for two years before moving to Howard county, Nebr. From there they moved to Wisconsin and lived there twenty years. The las fifteen years of his life Mr. Wolinski spent in Ashton. His wife preceded him in death five years having died on March 24, 1931. Four children died in infancy. He is survived by his children: three sons, John of Farwell, Frank and Ted of Chicago; five daughters, Anastasia Rozmiarek and Constance Curtis, both of Ashton, Kathryn Mudloff of O'Neill, Nebr., Mary Spons of Chicago, and Stella Wolinski of Manitowoc, Wisconsin; 44 grandchildren and 31 great grand-children besides a host of friends. -Courtesy of The Ashton Depot (From The Sherman County Times, Feb. 14, 1936- Contributor: Diane (47528261)
