Mike Schreiner of this city and Miss Antonette Korinek of Dwight, Neb., were united in marriage yesterday morning at Lincoln with Rev. Father Bradley officiating. They returned to this city last evening, where they will make their home. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Korinek of Dwight and is a young woman higly esteemed and very popular and has hundreds of friends who extend congratulations and best wishes for a happy and prosperous married life. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Philip Schreiner, pioneers of Otoe county. He was born and reared in this community and is well known and highly esteemed. For seveal months he has been employed by E. W. Blakeslee as an auto salesman. His many friends will extend best wishes upon this occasion. ''''''''''''''''''' The Nebraska Daily Press (Nebraska City, Nebr.), October 20, 1918, p. 8, col. 1 MRS. M. SCHREINER DEAD Passed Away at Home of Her Mother at Dwight Friday Night. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Schreiner yesterday morning received a telegram announcing the death of their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Antoinette Schreiner, at the home of her mother, Mrs. Kornick, at Dwight, Neb., Friday night, where she has been making her home since her husband, Mike Schreiner, entered the service last June. Mrs. Schreiner had been ill for several weeks and during the past few days her condition had been very serious. Miss Antoinette Kornick and Mike Schreiner were married at Dwight on June 5, 1917, and immediately came to this city, where they made their home until June, 1918, when Mr. Schreiner was called to the colors and is now "Somewhere in France." Mrs. Schreiner then went to the home of her mother to make her home until her husband returned and had been there but a short time when taken ill. During her short residence in this city she made many friends who will be pained to learn of her death. Mr. and Mrs. Philip Schreiner left yesterday morning for Dwight, where funeral services will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
