Description	:	Mr. Archie "Buster" Wilson Bowman, 75, husband of the late Callie Larmie Goins Bowman, died Tuesday, March 4, 2003 at the Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Mr. Bowman was born September 2, 1927, in West Virginia to the late John and Lillie Virginia Young Bowman. He was retired from Renfro Corportaion after 31 years of service, was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII and was a member of Blue Hollow Baptist Church. Mr. Bowman was born September 2, 1927, in West Virginia to the late John and Lillie Virginia Young Bowman. He was retired from Renfro Corportaion after 31 years of service, was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII and was a member of Blue Hollow Baptist Church. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Sherrie and Steven Montgomery of Ararat; two grandchildren, Quentin and Zachary Montgomery, both of Ararat; one sister and brother-in-law, Janie Irene and Ray Sutphin of Ararat; and by one brother and sister-in-law, Harry Lee Bowman Sr. and wife, Juanita. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 7, 2003 at 11:00 at the Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mount airy with services conducted by the Rev. Ricky Martin and the Rev. Ozzie Montgomery with burial to follow in the Hunters Chapel church cemetery with full military rites conducted by the V.F.W. Memorial Honor Guard Post 2019 of Mount Airy and Post 9436 of Pilot Mountain.
