Description	:	Service of Remembrance for Ardis LaRae Lepinske, 64, of Hettinger, ND will be Saturday, October 12, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Centennial Chapel of Evanson Jensen Funeral Home in Hettinger. Rev. Kathleen Dettmann will officiate and burial will follow at the Hettinger Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the Centennial Chapel. Ardis LaRae Pedersen was born on March 4, 1949 to Harry E. and Agnes L. (Cummings) Pedersen. She was the 10th of 12 children. She grew up on the family farm in the Ellingson area southwest of Hettinger, where she attended elementary school Ardis attended Hettinger High School and graduated in 1968. She then went for one year of college in Rapid City, SD. On February 14, 1970 her son Scot was born. She then married Michael Lepinske in October 1970 and they later divorced. Ardis worked for Community Memorial Hospital and McFarlands Fine Foods for many years until her health turned, causing her to take early disability. Ardis enjoyed her years of bowling, being on up to three leagues and one time, coming home with many trophies. She also loved to play a good game of pinochle, knitting and visiting with family and friends. Ardis had a great time with her two sisters every time they came and took her out on little day trips. She gained a daughter, when Scot married Holly Pick and they gave Ardis three beautiful granddaughters, Camryn, Carleigh and Chayse, which she just adored and couldn't stop talking about. Ardis passed away at the West River Regional Medical Center in Hettinger on Monday, October 7, 2013. Those who will greatly miss her are her son and daughter-in-law, Scot (Holly) Pedersen and their children, Camryn, Carleigh and Chayse, all of Minot, ND, her brothers, Stanley Pedersen, Phoenix, AZ, Richard (Vivian) Pedersen, Lakeworth, FL, Daniel Pedersen, Shelley, ID and Francis (Jackie) Pedersen, Hendersonville, NC; her sisters, Colleen "Faye" Wauhob and Delores Beehler, both of Idaho Fals, ID and sister-in-law, Louise Thorsgard, Hettinger; and best friend, Rita Whittet; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ardis was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Agnes Pedersen, her brothers, Ralph, Delwin, Marvin, Larry and Owen Pedersen and her special friend, Charles Mattis.
