Description	:	ARDIS VIRGINIA ROBINSON Ardis Virginia (Staley) Robinson joined her husband Fred Robinson in their Heavenly mansion on July 13, 2011, 36 years to the day after Fred left his earthly home. Ardis, age 99, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by family. Ardis was born in Coleman, Michigan on May 12, 1912 to Clarence and Inez (Finney) Staley, and married Fred Robinson on June 13, 1931 in Coleman. Ardis served as President of Robinson Industries in Coleman which she and her husband Fred founded in 1948. Ardis was born in Coleman, Michigan on May 12, 1912 to Clarence and Inez (Finney) Staley, and married Fred Robinson on June 13, 1931 in Coleman. Ardis served as President of Robinson Industries in Coleman which she and her husband Fred founded in 1948. Ardis was very active in the running of Robinson Industries as well as The Toughbuoy Company. Ardis was a member of Beaverton Baptist Church where she at one time served on the building committee. For many years she was also a member of the Skeels Baptist Church. Fred and Ardis also served as directors of Gilman Springs Youth Camp. Ardis is survived by daughter, Inez (Jerry Kaleto); son, Bernard Robinson; and daughters-in-law, Treva (Ron Robinson), Ruth Ann Robinson-Fleege, and Kari Robinson; as well as 10 granddaughters and a grandson, 23 great-grandchildren, and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Ardis was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; son, Ron; grandson, Craig; and great-grandson, Zach. Ardis leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, hard work, elegance and fun. Services were held at Beaverton Baptist Church on Saturday, July 16, 2011, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeremy Smith officiating. She was laid to rest at Dale Cemetery, Beaverton. Memorials are suggested to Beaverton Baptist Church or The Springs in Gladwin.
