She attended Dike High School for all her years of schooling. Ardith was united in marriage to Donald Wayne Johnson on June 14, 1953 in the Dike Methodist Church where they were both members. Later they were members of the Randalia United Methodist Church and the Grace United Methodist Church in Oelwein. They farmed together at Hudson and Randalia for over 40 years and retired to their home on the lake in Oelwein in 1998. Ardith is survived by her husband: Donald Johnson of Oelwein; 2 Sons: Bruce (Julie) Johnson of Oelwein & Douglas (Lyn) Johnson of Westgate; 2 Daughters: Sherri (Steve) Null of Highlands Ranch, Colorado & Carla (Robert) Paulson of Randalia; 8 Grandchildren: Brian, Chad, Jason, Crystal, Brooke, Kathryn, Jacob and Emily; 9 Great Grandchildren: James, Joshua, Joseph, Blake, Jesse, Lia, Delaney, Grace and Parker; Sister: Carma (John) Blackburn of Fountain Hills, Arizona; Brother: Beuford (Ann) Lauterbach of The Woodlands, Texas and Several Nieces & Nephews.
