She graduated from High School in Lynch, Nebraska and was later married to Gail Christensen on November 24, 1947 in Atlantic, Iowa. Ardys was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she served on the deaconess board of First Presbyterian Church, taught Sunday School & vacation bible school and was a member of the Sarah Circle. Read More	Ardys was born October 8, 1928 in Dupree, South Dakota, the daughter of Fred and Anna (Thompson) Baker. She graduated from High School in Lynch, Nebraska and was later married to Gail Christensen on November 24, 1947 in Atlantic, Iowa. Ardys was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she served on the deaconess board of First Presbyterian Church, taught Sunday School & vacation bible school and was a member of the Sarah Circle. Ardys was also a member of the Moose Lodge. Ardys has contributed to the world during her lifetime to make the world a better place by helping to save the environment and the ecology, by being a role model, a mentor, a parent, a grandparent and great-grandparent for all of her family members and friends. Ardys thanks all of her friends for their support, kindness, cards and prayers. A special thank you to the churches, neighbors, doctors and nurses. Ardys was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Gail in 1975, her brother Wesley, her sister Mavis, and her daughter-in-law Pamela (Cobb) Christensen.
