Description	:	Ardythe M. Wehr, 97, formerly of Ottumwa, died at 12:03 p.m. November 26, 2020 at the home of her two nieces in Ankeny. She was born March 13, 1923 in Oak Grove, IA to Thurman E. and Ivah Elder Cassill. She married George J. Wehr December 14, 1940 and he preceded her in death September 1, 1990. A graduate of Ottumwa High School, she worked for Sears in the credit department. She was a member of Davis Street Christian Church where she was very active and a member of Ottumwa Regional Health Center Auxiliary as well as a Bunco Club.... Read More	Ardythe M. Audythe enjoyed traveling, especially with friends on the South Ottumwa Savings Bank bus trips. Surviving is a cousin, Shirley Hotz of Coralville, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lowell and Dwight Cassill. Limited open visitation will be 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, November 30th at Reece Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.rfh-ia.com. Private funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday at Davis Street Christian Church with Rev. James H. Wakelin officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. For those unable to be inside the church for the service, you may watch live on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page. Memorials may be made to Davis Street Christian Church.
