(Timm) Martinitz. Growing up on a farm in the Lyona Community north of Woodbine, Arlene attended local schools and graduated from Chapman High School with the class of 1947 and Stewart Beauty School in December of 1947. (Timm) Martinitz. Growing up on a farm in the Lyona Community north of Woodbine, Arlene attended local schools and graduated from Chapman High School with the class of 1947 and Stewart Beauty School in December of 1947. She had been a Beauty operator for 51 years. On December 1, 1948 she was married to Virgil Kohman. He preceded her in death March 23, 1992. On March 21, 1998 Arlene was married to Nathan Ade of Gypsum. He preceded her in death August 5, 2014. She was also preceded in death by a son, Jerry Kohman; two sisters, Donna Macoubrie and Violet Lehner and three brothers, Paul, Lee and Eugene Martinitz. Arlene was a member of the Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 20th at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church with Pastor Shane Britt officiating. Interment will follow in the Abilene Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:30 – 6:30 PM Friday, February 19th , at the Danner Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial contributions in her name be given to the Emmanuel United Methodist Church or the Hospice of Dickinson County.
