Burdette, who formerly served Methodist Protestant Churches in the Damascus vicinity, died Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bessie Dixon, 4401 Hooper Avenue, Ridgewood. The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock from the home of Mrs. Dixon, with services conducted by Rev. P. O. Shettel. Further services were held at 2 o'clock at the Bethesda M.E. Church, Browningsville, Rev. F.R. Barnes officiating. The pallbearers were, Maurice Snyder, Eugene Walker, Dorsey Day, Filmore Beall, Earl Linthicum and Milton Burdette.
