She was born to Charles and Cornelia(VanderVeer)Miller on March 25, 1936, in Runnels. Arlene married Chester Goemaat on May 18, 1953, in Knoxville. They were blessed with seven children. Chester died on January 21, 2008. Arlene retired from Pella Corporation. She was a member of the New Life Church in Knoxville. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Chester. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Tuesday at the Sinnott Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Lovilia; with Pastor Leo Freel officiating. Burial will follow at Hamilton Cemetery, Visitation will be today beginning at 1 pm at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6-8 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
