Description	:	Arlene Snow Lamb, greatly loved matriarch, 92, of Ruckersville passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2008. She was born December 30, 1915, to the late Eugene Snow and Nora Knight Snow. She was a lifelong member of Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren and granddaughter of the late Reverend Henry S. Knight and his wife, Annie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey J. Lamb; her oldest son, Harold; siblings, Ruth, Helen, Lucille, Mary Geneva, Wilmer; granddaughter, Dana; great granddaughters, Jessica Lee, Mariah Jade; and son-in-law, Coleman Snow. Knight and his wife, Annie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey J. Lamb; her oldest son, Harold; siblings, Ruth, Helen, Lucille, Mary Geneva, Wilmer; granddaughter, Dana; great granddaughters, Jessica Lee, Mariah Jade; and son-in-law, Coleman Snow. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Pat Lamm of New York; two daughters, Joyce Nash and her husband, Edward of Ruckersville, Janice Snow and her long-time friend, David Harris of Charlottesville; four sons, Roger and his wife, Roberta, Allen and his wife, D.J., Kenneth and his wife, Kay and Gary and his wife, Bobbie all of Ruckersville; two sisters, Lorraine Meade and JoAnne Gallihugh also of Ruckersville; 26 grandchildren; 47 great grandchildren; 21 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, many friends and her church family. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 11, 2008 at the Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren with the Rev. David Kingrea officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Friday, October 10, 2008 at the Ryan Funeral Home, 12819 Spotswood Trail, Ruckersville, Virginia.
