She married Duane Thies March I, 1943, near Pikes Peak, Colo. He preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and loved her kids, and grandchildren, she enjoyed playing games on her computer, and was an avid bird watcher, and was a graduate of the Boone High School. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; granddaughter, Ginger; and a sister in infancy. Memorial services will be I p.m. Monday at Shrine of Memories Funeral Home with the Rev. Sue Babovec officiating. Internment will be at Memorial Lawn Cemetery.
