He was born in Corinna on March 5, 1940, the son of Fred and Bertha Hills. Arnold graduated from Corinna Union Academy, class of 1958, served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from the University of Maine Orono in 1966. He had been employed by Kraft Foods. Read More	The Rollingthunder express July 2016 ARNOLD C. HILLS AUGUSTA — Arnold C. Hills died peacefully May 28, 2016 in Lexington, KY after a brief illness. He was born in Corinna on March 5, 1940, the son of Fred and Bertha Hills. Arnold graduated from Corinna Union Academy, class of 1958, served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from the University of Maine Orono in 1966. He had been employed by Kraft Foods. Arnold was a member of the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church and enjoyed singing in the choir as well as participating in other programs of the church. For many years he served as a Literacy Volunteer. He was a kind, considerate and caring person and enjoyed being with his family. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Arnold is survived by his children, Randy Hills and wife Vicki of Lexington, KY; Ronald Hills of Canton, NY; Reannette Shoulette and husband David of Canton, NY; Kyle Hills and wife Kim of Kill Devil Hills, NC; step children Roger Madore of Augusta, ME and Annette Brann of Augusta, ME; sisters Dorothy Treworgy of Bangor, ME and Ruth Hudson and husband Bruce of Corinna, ME. Also grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, wives Winifred A Fanjoy, Gloria M Gaudet, and a son Darren. A memorial service will be held at the Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, Eastern Avenue, Augusta, ME, Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 2 PM with a time of remembrance following in the fellowship hall. Committal will be at the St. Francis de Sales Cemetery, Waterville, ME, Monday, July 18, 2016.
